What it does

Built around tech week, not generic capture software.

Camera + audio recording

Capture the wide stage view, program audio, and two more tracks of audio — synced on one file.

Standard video, active metadata

The session file is a standard MP4* anyone can watch. Open it in ShowRevue to unlock jump-to-cue, cue metadata, and instant replay.

Timecode — record and playback

Records and plays back timecode in sync with your video — LTC, MTC / MIDI, Art-Net, and sACN — keeping everything locked to the board.

Cue-aware playback

Jump back to a lighting or media server cue instead of scrubbing through hours of video.

Fire cues from the recording

Replay LX or media cues directly to the console while the video plays back — match the exact recorded moment without touching the board manually.

Back-of-house messaging

Stage Display puts live cue state, timecode, and a camera feed on any screen in the venue over LAN. Send show messages — half-hour calls, beginners, evacuation notices — to the whole building instantly.

Collaborative Live Notes — any device

Any phone, tablet, or computer becomes a note pad — on the venue Wi-Fi or anywhere via the cloud. The whole team takes notes together in real time: time-locked to the show, tagged by department, and shared instantly. Theatre Mode drops to pure black with a red readout to protect night vision in a blacked-out house.

Notes from the lighting desk

Hit a macro on the desk, type your note, and it's frame-stamped to the running timecode and shared with the whole team instantly — no iPad pickup, no breaking focus.

TimeWarp instant replay

Instantly replay the show mid-rehearsal and jump straight to a specific lighting cue — all while the take keeps recording. Review the moment the second it happens, scrub frame-accurate, monitor the audio.

Export & email notes

Send the session's notes — with timecode and time-since-cue — as a PDF or straight to your inbox the moment the run ends.

Show reports + run of show

Auto-generated session reports with run-of-show timing — act, interval and total running times, with deltas against your target times — ready for production meetings, remounts, tours, and archive.

Live Note annotations

Draw straight onto a note's snapshot — circle the late entrance, arrow the dead lamp. Strokes are vector and replay over the moving video at the note's timecode, from the Mac or any device (PCs work too).

* H.264 / H.265 record to a standard MP4. ProRes LT records to a MOV with a sidecar metadata file.

Lighting console integration

Connects directly to your console.

RevueShow receives cue data live from your lighting console. No third-party middleware. More consoles coming.

Built for your role

What does ShowRevue do for you?

  • Jump to any LX state by cue number — no manual scrubbing.
  • TimeWarp: scrub back through what just happened without stopping the record.
  • Drop a note from a grandMA3 button, straight into the record at timecode.
  • LTC records and plays back in sync with your video recording.
  • Snapshot previews for every cue fired during the session.
  • Exportable cue list with timestamps for post-show review.

Stage Display · back-of-house monitor

The whole show, on any screen in the building.

Stage Display is a live web page — the show's cue state, timecode, and stage camera — that any display on the venue network can show. Point a dressing-room monitor, a foyer screen, or a digital-signage player at the URL and it just works.

Just a web page

Stage Display is a single URL on the venue network. Open it in any browser — no app, no install, no extra box to rack.

Live cue state + timecode

The cue that just fired, what's coming next, and the running timecode — updating in real time on every screen.

Stage camera feed

The wide stage view streams to every connected display over the LAN, so back-of-house always sees the room.

Building-wide calls

Push half-hour, beginners, evacuation, and department notices to every screen in the building at once.

Drive a screen any way you like — straight off the Mac's HDMI, or any signage player you already run

Workflow

Tech rehearsal to opening night, one record.

  1. 01
    Connect

    Plug into the show

Point ShowRevue at your console and timecode. It records video, multitrack audio and LTC while capturing every LX, QLab and media cue live — no hand-logging.

  2. 02
    Note

Note it the moment it happens

Anyone on the team drops a timestamped note — from a phone, the lighting desk, or the app. Tagged by department, with a camera snapshot, locked to the exact frame, and the whole team sees it appear live.

  3. 03
    Replay

    Jump back and fire it

In playback, jump straight to any cue or note and replay the exact moment in sync. Fire LX or media cues back to the desk and QLab to match the recorded state.

  4. 04
    Archive

    Report and keep the record

An auto-generated session report — notes, snapshots and act/interval running times — and one clean show record for remounts, tours, and long-term archive.
