What it does

Built around tech week, not generic capture software.

Camera + audio, one file

Record the wide, your program feed, and two more audio tracks — all locked together in one file.

Show-Calling Trainer

Drill your calls against a real take. Hide the video and call it by ear — Standby and GO — against the cues that actually fired. Every call's graded early / on-time / late, with a scorecard and a PDF to prove it.

See the set move — in 3D

Drop in your MVR rig (or build the stage in the app), bind your PSN / BlackTrax trackers, and watch automation and tracking replay in sync with the video — with a shout if anything breaks a safe zone.

Punch in without losing quality

Always grab the camera at full res and record at HD, then punch in up to 4× and pan around — a tighter shot, no second lens, still sharp. Scroll or pinch the preview to zoom; drag to reframe.

A record you can actually trust

Crash-safe writing that survives a power yank, plus an optional live mirror to a second drive — so one disk dying mid-show doesn't take the whole run with it.

Plays anywhere, smart inside

The file's a bog-standard MP4* anyone can open. Pop it back into ShowRevue and every cue, note and bit of metadata is right there — jump straight to it.

Timecode in and out

Records and plays back timecode in sync with the video — LTC, MTC / MIDI, Art-Net, sACN — so you stay locked to the desk.

Jump to any cue

Hop straight to a lighting or media cue instead of scrubbing through hours of footage.

Fire cues back to the desk

Replay LX or media cues to the console as the video plays — match the exact recorded state, hands off the desk.

On every screen back-of-house

Stage Display throws live cue state, timecode and a camera feed onto any screen in the building over LAN. Half-hour, beginners, evac — fire a message to the whole house in a tap.

Notes from anyone, anywhere

Any phone, tablet or laptop is a note pad — on the house Wi-Fi or over the cloud. The whole team notes together, live, time-locked and tagged by department. Theatre Mode goes full black with a red readout so you keep your night vision in a blackout.

Note it from the lighting desk

Hit a macro, type, done — frame-stamped to timecode and shared with everyone. No reaching for the iPad, no breaking focus.

TimeWarp — instant replay mid-run

Catch what just happened the second it happens — jump to a cue, scrub it frame by frame, audio and all — while the take keeps rolling.

Notes out the door fast

Fire the session's notes — with timecode and time-since-cue — out as a PDF or straight to your inbox the moment the run ends.

Reports + run of show

Auto reports with run-of-show timing — act, interval and total, plus how far you ran off your target times — ready for the production meeting, the remount, the tour.

Draw on the moment

Scribble straight on a note's snapshot — circle the late entrance, arrow the dead lamp. Vector strokes replay over the moving video at the cue, from the Mac or any device (yes, PCs too).

* H.264 / H.265 record to a standard MP4. ProRes LT records to a MOV with a sidecar metadata file.

Built for your role

What does ShowRevue do for you?

  • Jump to any LX state by cue number — no scrubbing about.
  • TimeWarp — scrub back through what just happened without killing the record.
  • Drop a note from a grandMA3 macro, straight into the record at timecode.
  • LTC records and plays back locked to the video.
  • A snapshot of every cue you fired, all session.
  • Export the whole cue list with timestamps for the post-mortem.

Stage Display · back-of-house monitor

The whole show, on any screen in the building.

Stage Display is a live web page — the show's cue state, timecode, and stage camera — that any display on the venue network can show. Point a dressing-room monitor, a foyer screen, or a digital-signage player at the URL and it just works.

Just a web page

Stage Display is a single URL on the venue network. Open it in any browser — no app, no install, no extra box to rack.

Live cue state + timecode

The cue that just fired, what's coming next, and the running timecode — updating in real time on every screen.

Stage camera feed

The wide stage view streams to every connected display over the LAN, so back-of-house always sees the room.

Building-wide calls

Push half-hour, beginners, evacuation, and department notices to every screen in the building at once.

Drive a screen any way you like — straight off the Mac's HDMI, or any signage player you already run

Workflow

Tech rehearsal to opening night, one record.

  1. 01
    Connect

    Plug into the show

Point ShowRevue at your desk and timecode. It records video, multitrack audio and LTC and grabs every LX, QLab and media cue as it fires — no hand-logging.

  2. 02
    Note

    Flag it as it happens

Anyone drops a timestamped note — phone, lighting desk, or the app — tagged by department, with a snapshot, locked to the frame, and the whole team watches it land live.

  3. 03
    Replay

    Jump back, fire it

In playback, hop to any cue or note and replay the exact moment in sync. Fire LX or media back to the desk and QLab to match what was recorded.

  4. 04
    Archive

    Report it, keep it

An auto report — notes, snapshots, act/interval times — and one clean record for remounts, tours and the long-term archive.
